are still in place as we begin to install the new front support
wall and new roof rafters.

cleared out ready to accept the new floor joists. The front
supporting wall can also be seen.
The rear dormer is
constructed with most of the existing roof tiles temporarily in
place due to the possibility of showers.
Once the dormer has been
constructed the external 18mm timber sheeting is fixed to the
framework, and the old internal timbers are then removed.
The new floor is now
insulated tight to provide both insulation and sound deadening
between floors.
The internal walls are now
insulated with "celotex" insulation both in-between the
rafters and over the top to prevent any cold bridging. The
electrics and plumbing have also been run in so that the flooring
may now go down.
