The existing loft with high pitched roof The new floor joists are installed and packed up above the existing ceiling The front "Ashlar" support wall is constructed on top of the front steel to support the front roof
The "hipped" side of the bungalow shall be converted to a gable end. The new support for the flat roof is in place The rear roof is stripped off and the front part of the gable end has been constructed You can clearly see the old darker timbers that previously formed the hipped side to the loft and also the new timbers that now extend the size
The rear wall is now constructed and the new roof timbers are installed. The timber cladding to the roof and dormer sides will also be installed today together with the felt Once the outside roof work is complete the inside is then insulated, plaster boarded and then plastered. The skirting, architrave and doors are also fitted The en-suite is now tiled and fitted with a wall hung toilet and hand basin complete with hidden cistern
