Loft Conversion in Essex, Dunmow, Chelmsford, Braintree, Stortford, Harlow


Floor joists laid down in the first week and trimmed out for staircase	Roof timbers are trimmed out ready for the new Velux roof windows	Start of second week - the rear roof is stripped off in preparation for the building of the dormer

The rear wall is constructed and a few ceiling joists have also been installed	The dormer construction is near completed and the flat felt roof is being installed	The staircase has just been fitted

The two Velux windows to the main bedroom are installed	The loft is now insulated and ready for plaster boarding	The plaster board is now being installed

The loft has now been plastered so the spindles and hand-rail are now installed too	The staircase has now been painted	The main bedroom Velux windows provide excellent light to the bedroom
